Nothing new about this normal

I just drove across town to a bank with a coin machine to deposit $23.59 worth of change.

On my way home, I filled my gas tank to the tune of $21.90. Net gain: $1.69.

Sure hope the millionaires are OK.

But, they reeeaally need that extra $130,000 this year. Have you ever had to fuel a private helicopter. That type of thing is costly.

I know! And think of all the people they employ to fuel the chopper! Would I dare cut off their livelihoods at the hands of these benevolent rich guys?

It is said that God sends us exactly what we need and no more or no less. It seems you got more. Well done you.

I could still use a little more than $1.69.

Does a rich guy sign your paychecks, Ian?

You mean, am I am indentured servant to a person who deigns to employ me because they're rich and benevolent? No.

But good try, Robert.

No, that's not what I asked.

But good try, Joe.
