Too perfect

This graphic (created by a Republican, not sure who) encapsulates literally everything that is wrong with today's GOP, save perhaps for the lack of the words "tax" and "cut":

Now that's a fair sentiment, spoken by perhaps the best Republican ever, Abraham Lincoln, though it's probably outdated given shifting voter trends and HOLD THE BLOODY PHONE, RUSH LIMBAUGH SAID THAT?!! THEY REALLY PUT A RUSH LIMBAUGH QUOTE NEXT TO ABE LINCOLN'S VISAGE? AND THEN MINIMIZED HIS PUFFED-UP NAME AND PUT IT IN A PLAIN FONT SO AS TO NOT MAKE IT ABUNDANTLY CLEAR THAT LINCOLN WASN'T THE SPEAKER? IT'S ALMOST AS IF THEY'RE TRYING TO MISLEAD YOU INTO THINKING THAT QUOTE WASN'T SPOKEN AT THE HEIGHT OF REAGAN/BUSH-ERA GREED!!

(Capitalism. Get it? Sure you do.)

I can't tell if the copyright date says 2008 or 2000, but does it really matter? Does subtle Republican bait-and-switch know any singular era? I can tell you that the GOP prefers one of those years over the other.

One thing is certainly correct on this: Rush Limbaugh's name is near Lincoln's ass. That's where it belongs.

lol, this has to be the most ridiculous case of feigned outrage I've ever seen.

That's true. I have nothing on the Republicans in that respect.

Ian -- I understand your anger towards the GOP, and I'm sure it's a shared sentiment with many. However, I think your lack of focus on the problem at hand is clouding your sense of reality. It doesn't matter if the name is Rush, or Pelosi. Both parties are stinking up the oval office, and Americans are finally standing up. People are the power, not the government.

Oh, come on. How can you even begin to compare the GOP malfeasance of the past eight years with Obama's first 100 days? You seem to think that both are clones on account of very broad comparisons. I'm sure that's a very assuring and self-righteous stance to take, but it's too simplistic to mean anything. Again, do you or any of your disaffected third-party friends have a solution? I'm still all ears.
