Blogger problem #879,654

At some point a couple of nights ago, Blogger did something strange. I can no longer access my home page; typing in my address brings me straight to the login/dashboard screens. To even see my page at all, I have to type in the URL for the April 2005 archives and backtrack. It's an enormous pain in the ass, and affects only this particular blog (More Than Words accesses just fine). Is that happening to anyone else? And does anyone have a quick fix?

Clear your browser's cache and it'll work again. Though supposedly they fixed that bug. It hasn't happened to me in a couple of days.

Zac had the same problem a couple days ago. When I went to his page at the same time though, the page loaded normally.

I don't know if I cleared my cache properly (Mozilla is NO HELP in explaining that one to me), but I deleted all of my history and now I can't even recall the April 2005 archive address. So now I can't get to it at all on Mozilla. I sure wish, just for once, that Blogger could fix its fucking bugs for me just like it apparently does for everyone else.

But I'm not totally bitter; at least Internet Explorer now gives it to me, though at the slow speed that compelled me to download the supposedly "better" Mozilla browser. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. It does appear to be Blogger's problem if it's happening to you guys as well.

Ian, go to "Tools" and then click on "Options." Click on the "Privacy" tab at the left, and the Cache button should be at the bottom of your screen. Hit "Clear" and wait for it to do so, then hit "OK." That should do it.

Excellent! That worked. Thanks, Michael. You are my hero.

Aww, shucks. Wasn't anything you wouldn't have done had our roles been reversed.

And besides, shouldn't you be out partying and whooping it up? Or do you still have classes to get through before graduation arrives?
